Board of Advisory

The Board of Advisory (BOA) is consists of experienced leaders and experts from various industries and cultures. The main roles of the BOA is to advise the Board of Directors and Executive Directors on policy issues, and assist PRO Leadership in activities such as fundraisings, public relations, and other similar efforts.

1. Col (Dr.) Bob KroneBobKroneBob Krone is a global educator, author, and consultant in Advanced Management theory and practice. He is Provost of Kepler Space Institute and University, an Emeritus Professor at USC in Los Angeles, was a Distinguished Visiting Professor in the School of Business at La Sierra University in Riverside, California,(1992 – 2007) and an Adjunct Professor for Doctoral Programs in the International Graduate School of Business at the University of South Australia (1995 – 2007). He authored or co-authored seven books and 70 professional journal articles.

 

 

2. Dr. Gabe Hamda

GabeHamdaGabe Hamda is a #1 fan of PRO Leadership and its mission to prepare community and national leaders.  Gabe is personally dedicated to encouraging the creation of civic organizations that exist to improve the quality of life of under-served communities.  Gabe sees his personal mission and his reason for existence to help people discover and achieve their personal mission in life.  As a member of the advisory board of PRO Leadership, Gabe’s focus will be to expand the resourcefulness of PRO Leadership.

 

 

3. Dr. Robert L. (Bob) Frantz

robertfrantzBob has 22 years of nonprofit experience serving as an officer and a board member. These groups have ranged from a veterans organization; Safari Club International; and an NGO focused on international relations. He has overseen two scholarship funds for nonprofits. Bob also volunteered for nine years for the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum working in fundraising in the development department. He has expertise in parliamentary procedures. Finally. he has expertize in management and strategic planning from an academic perspective. He is an entrepreneur and currently co-owner of a for-profit online university.

 

4. Dr. Tracy Reynolds

Tracy1Tracy has been serving as Campus Pastor and instructor in the School of Christian Ministries. He served various Ministries as a professional Musician/Songwriter and Youth Pastor. He has been Associate Trainer within EQUIP’s Million Leader Mandate-Manila, Philippines. Tracy is also a Leadership Coach at Growing Leaders, Inc. He has a passion to serve the youth and raising leaders, and this passion attracted him to serve as Board of Advisor of PRO Leadership.

 

 

 

5. Mrs. Lakeisha McKnight

LakeishaFrom United States to Africa, Motivational Speaker Lakeisha McKnight has been known to speak with authority and effectiveness, stirring the hearts and minds of different business professionals, students, and families. She speaks for different settings including universities, colleges, businesses, and churches. Lakeisha McKnight has received over 40 awards (including a presidential citation) for her strong academic and community service career. Lakeisha McKnight has also been awarded as an entrepreneur of the 2010-2011 year with Cambridge’s Who’s Who and honored with membership with the National Association for Professional Women. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, Masters in Social Work, and completed several courses within the doctoral track within Strategic Leadership. Lakeisha McKnight the owner of two companies: 1) Kingdom Expansion Enterprises, Inc and 2) The International Leadership Education and Development Company LLC. She has authored a book entitled GOALS Guidelines on Achieving Life Success. Lakeisha McKnight is on a mission to build CHAMPIONS to impact the nations of the world through the passion and fire that burns within her to speak.

6. Dr. Yvonne Stargell

Yvonne Stargel is a business strategist and change agent with proven success driving profits and organizational effectiveness through strategic planning, execution and expert alliances.  Formerly, Ms. Stargell was president and CEO of Athena Ventures, LLC, a global venture capital / holding company focused on the success of early-stage technologies and emerging markets worldwide. She holds a B.A. from Hiram College, Hiram, Ohio with concentrations in business management and communications, and an M.S. in management from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana. Currently, Ms. Stargell is a doctor of business administration candidate at Walden University.

7. Dr. R. Kenny Blanc

KenDr. R. Kenny Leblanc, a professor of Communication, Speech and Public Speaking working in the South Florida area.  Dr. Leblanc has over 15 years of practice/professional experience in both academia and organizational settings. Her primary areas of research are in strategic planning/foresight and leadership development. Dr. Leblanc, is also the President and Co-founder of Institut Technique Libre, a leadership based foundation in Haiti, launched to development and train professionals and executives.

 

 

8. Robert (Rob) Brown

Robert BrownRobert Brown is a native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and a member of the District of Columbia Bar since 2002.  A proud Michigan State Spartan alumnus, Rob has worked in the fields of complex litigation, civil rights class action, bankruptcy, workers’ compensation, patent litigation, mergers/acquisitions, SEC investigations and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  Rob is currently a financial strategist, owner of The Writer’s Silo and co-host of Between the Covers for Book Lovers.

 

9. Obang Metho

ObangFinalMr. Obang Metho is Executive Director of the SMNE, a non-political and non-violent social justice movement of diverse people that advocates for freedom, justice, good governance and upholding the civil, human and economic rights of the people of Ethiopia, without regard to ethnicity, religion, political affiliation or other differences. Mr. Metho is a human rights activist who has tirelessly advocates for human rights, justice, freedom and environment, enhanced accountability in politics and peace in Africa for over 10 years. He has briefed and met with leaders and officials at United Nations, the European Parliament, the US Department of State, the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, the World Bank and the Council for Foreign Relations, amongst others. Mr. Metho is a courageous defender of fundamental respect for human life and is committed to work for the reconciliation, forgiveness and healing of affected peoples in order to create a positive future.

 

10. Dr. Ray Charles

RayRay Charles is a leader of leaders whose body of work includes a very diverse and extensive portfolio, ranging from Chemical Engineer to VP Sales, Regional Manager to CEO of Management Consulting Firm. He has been the lead Executive Coach on several major change initiatives in both the private and public sector, most notably, the commercial insurance industry through his disruptive questioning, “Why not?” Ray has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Howard University; PhD from North Carolina College of theology; and is certified as both an Executive Speech Coach and Business Coach. He is passionate about Investing in people by (first) Investing in the lives of their Leaders.

 

11. Vernon Williams

vwbust (1) (1)After more than twenty years of leading high performing corporate customer service and marketing teams, Vernon L. Williams was “downsized”. He saw this as an opportunity to become an entrepreneur. Today, he is a national speaker, workshop facilitator and coach with a reputation for challenging, encouraging and equipping clients to conquer stress and improve their effectiveness. From the beginning of his entrepreneurial career, he has earned the reputation of exceeding clients’ expectations. Vernon is the author of five books and is passionate about helping clients be who they were meant to be and do what they were meant to do. Vernon has a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University.

 

12. Veronica Adams

VAdamsVeronica has a passion for understanding what moves, touches, and inspires people to their best selves, and communicating to that. She brings special expertise in diversity & inclusion; creativity & innovation; Socratic Method & critical thinking; creative messaging; and leadership development, which includes women’s leadership development. Her mgt. best practice interests include values alignment for the Triple Bottom Line, servant leadership, and Agile project mgt.She currently works with TAG Consulting in Fairfax, VA. Clients from her independent consultancy have included The Center for Creative Leadership, Accenture, Exec Online/Columbia University Business School, Cook-Ross, Inc., healthcare and food service companies, federal govt. agencies, and environmental non-profits. She earned a M. Divinity at Harvard with a concentration on cultural values and comparative religions; did her OD masters work at Johns Hopkins; and completed an undergraduate degree in theater.
